Hello guys! Can you write a short biography of the band to begin this interview ?

Hello Dr.Gore!!!! Well, hutt was formed in september 2002, we met each other by chance, in a rehearsal doing jam sessions, just guitar, drums and vocal, that continues like this until today... When we made few songs (november), we recorded our demo “miseravel” .

You released your first album this year, can you tell us about it?

We had a lot of songs and we decided to record them. We recorded at “Da Tribo studio” with Ciero (our friend) wich already recorded a lot of bands here in brasil, like Krisiun, Claustrofobia ...its a very good studio and we were satisfied with the final result. The cd “sessão descarrego” was released by 2+2=5 recs.

What are your influences?

We are very influenced by Nasum, Napalm, Slayer.....death metal, and mainly grindcore

How is the Brazilian grind scene? What do you think about it?

There are some grind bands in Brasil, maybe here don’t have a lot of club or gig houses but we play almost every week (here that is a lot!!!...ahahah). Here in Brazil we have great bands as Are you god?, Rot, Desgraço, Life is Lie, DER, Facada, Subtera......

Do you know the French scene? What are your favourites French bands?

We know few bands , Inside conflict ( great band!!!!!) ,Gerbe of life, Inhumate, Dahmer...

What are you waiting for a label ? Do you like your label ?

Yes!!! we liked our label, Douglas (2+2=5, and our friend!!!) has been publishing the band very well and it is mainly that we thought a label has to do for the band.

Can you tell us about the releases of “2+2=5 records” ?

He released Rot, Are you god?, Lymphatic Phlegm---great brazilian bands!!!!!!!, Depression/Mesrine split cd, Unholy grave/Anarchus split cd, Eyehategod "99 Miles Of Bad Road" .... www.2plus2equal5.com

Do you have some future projects for the bands ?

Yes , we formed other project with the guys of Presto? (brazilian grindcore), and the name is BODE, we still making new songs and will record soon ( I hope!!! )

What is the origin of the name “HUTT” ?

Hutt is the name of Jabba the hutt, from star wars.
