Hello Luisma, how are you ?
Fine! Thanks! Just back from Just Killers Fest...
Can you resume the beginning of Haemorrhage ?
oh, yes, we were three crazy teenagers making crazy music.
What did you find about the live at Antwerpen in Belgium ?
It was a cool show. It hopefully should be or last show as a four-piece band. Now Ana is back in the band after a short break for personal reasons and we all feel better on stage having her on guitar. About the fest in Belgium i have some cool memories, we played a quite cool show (despite the fucking noisy stage monitors sound), we spend a couple of dates in Belgium (Gent was really a cool place), we knew some new fans, some cool people from Death Metal.be as Filip, Kenneth, Stjin, etc...and some people from bands. And the best we were totally drowned in the great Belgian beer... ha, ha...
Did you have any reviews of your last release : the split CD with Denak ?
Yes I saw some of them on internet, but to be honest I didn’t pay too much attention, as its not a new recording. The songs were recorded in 1998 and the reviews of those days were totally great, that’s one of the reasons to re-release the EP on MCD format. I got a possitive feedback from fans that really wanted to listen those songs on CD with better sound.
Why did you decide to release this split CD ?
As I told you the people who got that Ep in 1998 had their Eps really damaged ha, ha... I got an e-mail from Inaki (Denak singer) saying a label wanted to re-release the EP on CD with remastered sound and some bonus tracks, new artwork, etc... Denak split up sometime ago and they were our friends for years so we couldn’t say no. It was great to re-release this stuff again, cause its one of my favourite EPs. We told the label to sell this as low price CD and they agreed so It was cool in every way you look it.
Can you tell us about your lasts releases ?
Our last studio release is the Split CD with Impaled and the last release is the DVD “Visions from the morgue”. About the split with Impaled only tell you we have 3 onw songs and a cover version of the swedish Grave. Its a quite good split Cd that you all should check out.
Can you give us some information about the underground scene in Spain ?
ther are some great bands Machetazo, Gruesome Stuff Relish, Difenacum, etc...but the best is Haemorrhage ha, ha...Sorry.I’m just kidding.
Its not a cool scene, but sometimes there are some people that does some good things (like Trauma fest), but the reality is not really cool...there’s always a feeling of rivalty and envy. I don’t ilke too much.
Can you write your definition of “underground” ?
For me underground is playing the music you like with the people you like with no commercial interests. Its not only music is an attitude too of cooperation, etc...
Does someone of the band have any side projects ?
Yes our drummer and bassist play in Greenfly. I have a side project called REEK but I still didn’t release anything
Do you have future projects ?
Yes, we have to record a new album when we have the time to do it. We have all the songs almost finnished, so it just a matter of time...then we have a Japan tour (I cross my fingers).
That’s all for today bro, it was a pleasure to meet you in Belgium. Theses lasts words are yours..
Thanks a lot for the interview, and I hope to meet you again in some other fest, a big hello to all the haemofans...STAY SICK!
